Fashion & Textile designer Ensuk Hur is looking to push the boundaries of fashion and interior design by exploring different materials and approaches when working with textiles.
Beautifully intricate laser cut felt
Ensuk came to us to laser cut components for her interchangeable modular system of laser cut natural wool felt textile. She created a product where the design can be altered over and over.
Cutting felt fabric is a fast and clean. The laser seals the edge with a slightly singed edge. On lighter coloured felts the heat marks are more apparent, but we can control the extent of this by adjusting the power of the laser. And it doesn’t end with felt! On thin synthetic fabrics laser cut textiles, the burn marks are almost non-existant!
