TDO architecture is a collaboration between graduates of the Royal College of Art and The Bartlett School of Architecture. The group were formed around their shared interest in experimenting with the physical qualities of materials and how they behave optically, visually and sensually.
Contemporary dolls house for Wallpaper magazine
TDO were commissioned by Wallpaper to design a contemporary Doll’s House;
“We re-approached the design by understanding the parameters of what makes both a functional Doll’s House and an imagined full scale proposition.”
The main framework of the design was cut from a 6mm thickness birch plywood that provided a supportive yet attractive structure.
